Wissenschaftlicher Werdegang

Tracie L. Wilson studierte im B.A. von 1986 bis 1989 Politikwissenschaft an der Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri sowie im M.A. Russian and East European Studies von 1993 bis 1996 an der Indiana University-Bloomington. Im Zeitraum von 1996 bis 2005 promovierte sie zum Thema 'Wild Nature': Globalization, Identity and the Performance of Polish Environmentalism. Seit 2009 ist sie wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin im DFG-Projekt Wege der Rechtsfindung in ethnisch-religiös gemischten Gemeinschaften. Erfahrungsressourcen in Polen-Litauen und seinen Nachfolgestaaten, in dem sie sich mit Organisationen der Frauenwohlfahrt und Kinderhandelsprävention in Galizien um 1900 beschäftigt.
